The Exhibition hall in Carolina Rediviva displays treasures
from the collections, a.o. the Silver Bible from the 6th century, Carta Marina – Olaus Magnus’ map printed in 1539 – The map of Mexico, hand-drawn by Alonso de Santa Cruz in 1555 – musical notation written with Mozart’s own hand and numerous medieval manuscripts. The exhibition Take up and write – a history of the pen runs until May 5th. The Linnaeus’ exhibition From a stubborn root to a notable tree opens on May 22nd.
