Gamla Uppsala Museum

Gamla Uppsala with the three Royal burial mounds
is one of the most valuable cultural sites in Scandinavia. As early as in the 6th century there was a centre of political and religious power. In Gamla Uppsala museum the legendary history of the site is told. In the exhibition "Myth, might and man" you find the objects from the excavations, models, a slide show and a new children’s corner for iron age activities.
